During this year’s edition of the WWE Draft, Hit Row was called up to the WWE main roster, which certainly surprised many fans. The faction is currently part of Friday Night Smackdown and finally made their debut last month. It seems Top Dolla recently made an interesting comparison with Hit Row.
On the other hand, The Shield is regarded as one of the most dominant and popular stables in the history of the WWE and truly elevated the statuses of Jon Moxley, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. The Shield would break up for the first time back in 2014, in a move that certainly no one saw coming.
While speaking on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves, Top Dolla stated that Hit Row has no leader. He then went on to explain how Hit Row is similar to The Shield.
“A lot of people get mad saying, ‘Swerve was the leader of Hit Row in NXT and now Hit Row sucks because Top Dolla is the leader on SmackDown.’ There is no leader in Hit Row. Just like there is no leader in the Shield, there is no leader in Hit Row. We all are leaders because we all feel like we’re stars. We all feel like we were waiting for our opportunity and it just so happened that it all came at the same time.”
Top Dolla also previously stated that he would gladly job to Roman Reigns. With B-fab being released from the company last week, it remains to be seen how the remaining members of the group will fare on the main roster.
