Top Dolla recently appeared on the “After the Bell” podcast, where in a conversation with host Corey Graves, he discussed his team Hit Row, its dynamic, and its history.

Top Dolla stated that he had the idea for Hit Row for years, the blueprint for which he came up with while wrestling independently.

It’s amazing because this is an idea that I’ve had for years, the record label faction. I did it on the indies, we were called ‘The Row’ because I look like Suge Knight, obviously. It’s something I’ve wanted to do my whole life.

Top Dolla also wanted Hit Row to reflect his love for rapping, which he stated as the reason why he originally wanted Lio Rush to be a part of the team. However, he also made it clear that he has always been passionate about wrestling.

Top Dolla claimed that he has been watching WWE since before he could walk, or even talk. He stated that he always wanted to be a wrestler, even back when he was in the NFL.

Even when I was in the NFL, my dream was to always be in WWE, and people thought I was crazy that I was in the NFL and I would tell them I hadn’t accomplished my dream yet.

As reported earlier, Hit Row recently lost their member, B-Fab. Despite this, Top Dolla seems optimistic about Hit Row’s ability to bring something new to the table. Let’s see what the future holds for the team.
