WWE recently revealed men and women teams for their upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) event. Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, and Dominik have been made part of the RAW men’s team.
The team for the blue brand consists of Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, King Woods, Sami Zayn, and Happy Corbin. The company also announced the women’s team members for the traditional five-vs-five match.
According to Fightful Select, some members of the Survivor Series card found out about their spots via social media. Earlier, there were reports that some people within WWE wanted several teams to remain together after the draft.
However, the advice fell on deaf ears and only AJ Styles and Omos were told they would continue to work together as a team instead of going their separate ways. Many even questioned the logic behind the management’s decision to draft individuals instead of teams as that would affect storylines.
This year’s Survivor Series will emanate from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. As of this writing, the WWE has not announced the main event for the 35th iteration of the annual Survivor Series PPV.
