WWE only has a few episode of RAW and SmackDown before Survivor Series on November 21st, but they haven’t booked anything for the show. They made reference to the annual November pay-per-view, but the company had another show they needed to take care of first.

The company has already advertised that they will run another brand vs brand theme this year at Survivor Series. They have not cemented any matches on the card despite the fact that the event is growing closer.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE hasn’t touched Survivor Series yet because Crown Jewel needed attention. Now that WWE’s trip to Saudi Arabia is over the company can focus on building toward Survivor Series.

I was told the mentality behind not having promoted it at all is that they felt they pushed Crown Jewel as hard as they could and the most important thing now is to get over new feuds with the new rosters and let the new rosters settle in on television, and then push Survivor Series the final weeks.

We will have to see if WWE builds any momentum toward Survivor Series tonight on SmackDown. Roman Reigns will be back on the show and that could open the door to book that champion vs champion match with Reigns vs Big E that everyone is expecting.
