WWE Releases Eva Marie From Contract

Eva Marie was brought back to WWE after years away from the ring. They had her return to help out other talent, but she only got to work with Doudrop. Now the Eva-Lution is moving on once again.

WWE released a lot of talent today and the names keep coming. Ember Moon, Karrion Kross, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Nia Jax, Franky Monet, Oney Lorcan and more were cut from their contracts. Eva Marie’s name was a part of that list.

Fightful’s Sean Sapp has confirmed that Eva Marie was a part of today’s cuts. This was a bit of a shock considering the hype they put into her return.

Eva Marie tried to branch out into acting when she departed from WWE the first time. She did land a couple of roles. Only time will tell if her latest run in WWE will give her a bit more momentum to help those outside projects now.
