WWE released over a dozen Superstars from NXT and the main roster. This was a huge shock and many fans are still a bit shaken up by the news. The company was apparently ready for the backlash and they thought ahead.

According to a report from PW Insider, WWE is cancelling their Performance Center training classes in light of the recent cuts. If was not noted how long those classes will be shut down, but tomorrow is not happening.
WWE management just started calling talents within the last 15 minutes to inform them they are being released. We are also told WWE canceled certain training classes for tomorrow at the PC.
NXT Superstars will have a 30-day non-complete clause associated with their releases. Main roster Superstars will have a 90-day non-compete clause. It’s unknown whether B-Fab, who was just called up to SmackDown from NXT as a part of Hit Row, signed a new main roster deal yet.
Superstars were informed that they were being cut due to budget reasons. It should also be noted that WWE reported big profits across the board as part of their 2021 3rd quarter earnings call.
