Renee Paquette and Jon Moxley recently became parents to a beautiful baby girl. Yesterday, Tony Khan shared the news that Moxley was going to an inpatient rehabilitation center due to issues with alcohol. The news brought forth an outpouring of support from fans and others in the wrestling industry alike.

Today, Renee took to Twitter to express her gratitude to those who reached out. She said she’s proud of her husband. She’s clearly supportive of Mox’s decision to get help, and grateful for fans giving them the respect to do what’s best for their family.

“Thanks for this outpouring of support. Jon is every bit of the badass we all know him to be. I couldn’t be more proud of him for getting to proper help he needs, and being given the space to put his health first. Couldn’t possibly love this man more”

Renee and Jon met during their shared time in WWE. Paquette was known there as Renee Young, a backstage interviewer who eventually joined the commentary team. She has since parted ways with the company and hosts the successful Oral Sessions podcast.

Jon Moxley’s autobiography “Mox” just released yesterday. He was set to take on Orange Cassidy in a semifinal tournament match on tonight’s Dynamite. It was certainly not an ideal time to take time away, from a wrestling standpoint. When it comes to real life situations like this, wrestling shouldn’t matter. Jon deserves huge props for stepping away from everything else to focus on his health and his family.

In the replies to Renee’s tweet, a further flood of supportive words has steadily streamed in. The wrestling community, for as toxic as it can be at times, has really united in their support of Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette. We wish their family the absolute best and hope for a speedy recovery for Mox.
