The NXT superstar formerly known as Ezra Judge is training with WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley. Now known as EJ Nduka, the grappler is working out ahead of his appearance at MLW War Chamber on November 6.
Fightful Select reported on Nduka’s preparation for his War Chamber match where he will team with Alex Hammerstone, Richard Holliday, and a mystery partner against Contra. He’s also been getting help from another former WWE star.
“He hasn’t stopped training since leaving the WWE PC. He’s now at D-Von Dudley’s school. He also said that King Mo was really great with him at MLW and showed him a hold.”
EJ said that after his WWE release, he started hearing from other wrestling promoters almost immediately. He developed a good rapport and trust with MLW and decided to sign with the organization. He’s happy with the confidence they’ve shown in him thus far.
The War Chamber match is similar to WarGames. Nduka said that he’s prepared for this type of match thanks to his time in NXT. He said that he showed up early to watch the War Games match being put together. He’s also studying Elimination Chamber matches to prepare for the carnage.
The former bodybuilder and arena football player signed with WWE in August of 2019. After a fairly unremarkable run, he was released in May of 2021. After being pushed into the MLW main event scene so fast, Nduka must be happy with where he landed. The MLW War Chamber event takes place in Philadelphia’s famed 2300 Arena on November 6.
