Becky Lynch Addresses Fans Upset Over Raw Women’s Title Match

Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair to defend the Raw Women’s title, but the finish wasn’t without controversy. Becky pushed Bianca into the exposed turnbuckle after she tore the pad off while trying to escape Belair’s K.O.D. It was left ambiguous whether Becks did the deed on purpose.

After fans freaked out about the ending, The Man took to Twitter to address them. She posted a quote from herself. The quote, from September 2021, reminds fans that the new Becky Lynch has a win-at-all-costs attitude.

Later on in the show, Becky was giving an interview to justify her actions when Liv Morgan confronted her. The backstage stare-down appears to have set the groundwork for a title feud between Morgan and Lynch. That storyline has become a hot topic on social media.

The Raw Women’s champ appears to care very little about what the fans think. She just wants to keep winning and defending her title. Despite her warm welcome when she made a surprise return and defeated Bianca at SummerSlam. The entire angle is part of establishing Becky as a credible heel after being the most popular babyface in the company for an extended period.

As the storyline develops, fans continue to clamor for a title match between Morgan and Lynch. Liv has been begging for a match with Becky since before she left on maternity leave. Unless plans change dramatically, it looks like Liv Morgan will soon get her wish for a title shot.
