WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. Angle also revealed the exorbitant amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match. It seems Angle has finally addressed a rumor about himself recently.
Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches. This is because he faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer. This includes his time in WWE’s version of ECW.
Kurt Angle’s run in ECW was subpar, to say the least. He worked there for a few months before making his way to TNA back in 2006. Back then there were quite a few rumors about him backstage.
While speaking on his podcast on AdFreeShows.com, Kurt Angle addressed the rumor that ECW stars did not like him and rejected his advice backstage. Angle made it clear that he never heard of such rumors.
“Not that I know of. I did not hear a thing about this. The first time I heard it was two weeks ago on this podcast, where you said that Meltzer stated that the wrestlers did notwant to take my advice, and that they were mad at me and disliked me. I did not know any of this. If that is true, I had no idea. No, nothing like that. That is the first time I heard about it.”
Kurt Angle is enjoying his life in retirement after WrestleMania 35. We certainly wonder if he will make his return to pro wrestling one way or the other, especially as Gable Steveson’s manager.
