Enzo Amore recently signed with Major League Wrestling after a long road back to the world of professional wrestling. After a widely-panned appearance at the joint Ring of Honor/New Japan Madison Square Garden show, he’s had a difficult time getting back into the national spotlight.

This morning, nZo took to Twitter to express the reason he believes he was blackballed from the industry. He says it’s because people are afraid of him. He also claims it’s because he’s the best. He also included a fan camera video of himself invading MLW.

“I’ve been black balled by #prowresting for being the best people are petrified of what I might say or do

Heart of a champion Heart of Gold Mind gone Platinum Silver tongue SOB You can’t black-ball Brass Balls”

Amore then plugged his upcoming appearance for MLW at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. MLW runs the former ECW Arena on November 6. Enzo also tagged MLW tv partner Vice in the tweet.

Several years ago, nZo was accused of rape and other heinous acts. He fought off the charges, but since hasn’t been able to regain his previous popularity. His tag team with Big Cass was one of the most popular acts in NXT.

Enzo Amore was a two-time WWE Cruiserweight champion. His tag team with Colin Cassady won the NXT Tag Team of the Year award in 2015. Now that he’s cleared his name (legally, at least), he’s trying to make it back to the big-time. It remains to be seen if he will be accepted by mainstream companies like WWE and AEW.
