WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. Angle also revealed the exorbitant amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match. Now it seems Angle wants to manage Gable Steveson.
Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches. He has faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer.
Gable Steveson’s terrific performance at the Tokyo Olympics helped make him a well-known name in the world of sports. WWE went the extra mile in getting Steveson to sign a contract as even Vince McMahon personally met up with Steveson to sign him. WWE finally managed to sign Gable Steveson to a contract last month and put all speculation to rest as far as where the 21-year-old will go next.
While speaking on the Pancakes & Powerslams podcast, Kurt Angle was asked to name a superstar he would love to manage. Kurt Angle wasted no time in naming Gable Steveson.
“Oh, Gable Stevenson! Olympic gold medalist! That would be an easy one!”
Gable Steveson was drafted to Monday Night RAW during this year’s edition of the WWE Draft. The company is also setting up a remote training facility for Gable. We will have to wait and see if Kurt Angle will make his WWE return in order to manage Gable Steveson or not.
