Big E truly had a long and difficult road to the top of WWE. After making an impact on NXT, he soon made his way to the main roster but was eventually lost in the shuffle. It seems Big E also rejected an idea WWE pitched to him.

The New Day member made headlines last month after he promised to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase. This would lead to a lot of excitement among fans and there is a good reason for that.

Big E ended up cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley and defeated him for the WWE Championship, signalling the start of his era of Monday Night RAW.

While speaking on the Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM show, Big E talked about his WWE career. Big E revealed that he turned down a pitch for him to do a ‘pec dance’ a few years ago, similar to what Chris Masters would do. Big E turned down the idea immediately.

“Nothing too crazy. Years ago, they asked me if I could do a pec dance. A dude called Chris Masters used to pop his pecs rhythmically, and I do a lot of silly nonsense, but I was like, ‘I ain’t trying to do all that.”

Big E successfully defended his WWE Title against Drew McIntyre at WWE Crown Jewel last week. We will have to wait and see how Big E will be booked as the WWE Champion in the coming months as fans are certainly enjoying his title run.
