AEW Dynamite made its debut in October 2019 and since then has worked hard to provide an alternate product to what fans see in WWE. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. It seems AEW streaming services might be launched next year.
For many, AEW was seen as a breath of fresh air and also that old school nostalgia as the company tried to balance both the modern and old school aspects of pro wrestling. While AEW still has a long way to go as far as being a solid product is concerned, it certainly shows promise so far.
With the inception of AEW Rampage earlier this year, the company has more content than ever before. Due to this many fans have wondered if AEW will ever get a streaming service.
While speaking on Ask Tony Live! on AdFreeShows, AEW announcer Tony Schiavone was asked if AEW would have a streaming service in the future. He said that the company is likely to have a streaming service by the end of next year.
Yes I do. I think we’re going to see a streaming service. This is my thought. I don’t know anything for sure. Just by talking to people, I think there’s going to be a streaming service by the end of 2022.”
It remains to be seen how AEW will implement its streaming services. With streaming being the norm in many places, the company certainly has a lot of live up to.
