Paul Heyman Tried To Get Into The Ring After WWE Smackdown Went Off Air

Paul Heyman’s contributions to the pro wrestling world do not need any introductions whatsoever. His promo skills are touted as some of the best in the history of the pro wrestling world. It seems he was involved in an in-ring segment after this week’s Friday Night Smackdown.

Paul Heyman is currently the Special Counsel to Universal Champion Roman Reigns and has been instrumental in Reigns’ success. Heyman always tries to avoid physical confrontations as much as possible.

After the conclusion of this week’s Friday Night Smackdown, a dark match took place which saw Roman Reigns and The Usos square off against Drew McIntyre and The Street Profits.

When the match was taking place, Paul Heyman stepped inside the ring as fans in attendance chanted “ECW!” However, Heyman’s leg got caught in the ropes and he fell down. Afterwards, the Street Profits started beating on him until Jimmy Uso made the save.

Paul Heyman will continue to elevate Roman Reigns to the top and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. It remains to be seen who Roman Reigns’ next opponent will be as we head towards WWE Survivor Series.
