Mandy Rose has much cause for celebration. She recently became WWE NXT Women’s Champion. Rose was joined in her celebrations by Sonya Deville, who took to Twitter to announce her happiness.

Deville, however, is not Rose’s sole well-wisher, as there is someone else she credits with her success. In her appearance on WWE’s The Bump this week, Rose made sure to thank her former mentor, Paige.

Paige was always an amazing leader for Sonya [Deville] and I, especially so early in our careers. She always guided us. She always gave us little tips that, maybe, you don’t think that they’re going to help you in your career, whether it’s not related to wrestling. That’s what I feel like I’m doing now. I have to say, you learn from the best. Paige is one of the best.

It definitely seems true that Rose learned from the best. She and her team, Toxic Attraction have performed tremendously at the Halloween Havoc event.

While Rose beat out Raquel Gonzales to emerge as the women’s champion, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Doyle beat Io Shirai and Zoey Stark along with Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta for the women’s tag team championship title.
