WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg’s contributions to the pro wrestling world do not need any introduction. Goldberg truly became a household name during his time in WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past.
Goldberg had been engaged in a longstanding feud with Bobby Lashley over the past few months. It saw him losing to Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam back in August.
At WWE Crown Jewel, Goldberg and Bobby Lashley had a very intense match. Both competitors gave it their all to win the match. Goldberg put on a stellar performance as he ultimately defeated Bobby Lashley and brought an end to their feud.
While speaking on his CarCast podcast, Goldberg talked about his match against Bobby Lashley. Prior to this match, Goldberg has had a series of highly criticized matches in Saudi Arabia. Goldberg stated that his performance in the match was enough to shut up all of his haters.
“I don’t have the best track record in Saudi Arabia. I’ve knocked myself out, I’ve dropped the Undertaker on his head. I needed to redeem myself. I’m not happy with my performance, but I’m satisfied with it to a point where I think it shut all these fuckers up, finally.”
Goldberg also recently stated that he has only more match left in his WWE contract. We will have to wait and see when Goldberg will wrestle once again and who his opponent will be. Goldberg already hinted at facing Rey Mysterio and his son, so we wonder if that will happen as well.
