Many fans would agree that WWE’s product has fallen a lot when it comes to quality. The current product has a lot of flaws including 50/50 booking, feuds that don’t go anywhere, teams splitting up for no reason and storylines not making sense. The disinterest of the fans is reflected in the dwindling ratings of Monday Night RAW over the past few years.

This is only the start as fans are also tired of how NXT talents being called up to the main roster are treated. Karrion Kross and Keith Lee’s plight are one of many blemishes on WWE’s record.

On the other hand, AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole. Many talents simply choose to go to AEW now in hopes of better booking compared to WWE.

While speaking to GOW Media, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff talked about WWE’s current product in comparison to AEW. Bischoff stated that WWE’s product is sterile and has a sameness to it.

“WWE is creating global product, AEW is creating a domestic product. Due to this, the WWE product feels a little sterile. There is a sameness, softness to it. The action is great, the characters are colorful, the production is outstanding; but it does nothave the same edge that AEW has as AEW is not trying to compete internationally,.”

We certainly wonder if pro wrestling as a whole will improve their storylines, especially WWE in this case. Mick Foley previously said that WWE has a problem with AEW as well. It remains to be seen whether WWE will make a better product eventually or not.
