AEW Dynamite made its debut in October 2019 and since then has worked hard to provide an alternate product to what fans see in WWE. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. It seems Eric Bischoff had some scathing words for Tony Khan recently.

AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole to their roster, ensuring that the roster is one of the most stacked in all of pro wrestling.

Tony Khan recently revealed that he was over the moon after AEW Rampage beat Friday Night Smackdown in head to head ratings. While Khan sees it as a huge win, it seems Eric Bischoff doesn’t quite see it hte same way.

While speaking on his podcast 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff stated that Tony Khan has no reason to be proud as AEW did not win anything. Bischoff then dragged Khan for burning up talents in AEW, especially CM Punk.

“WWE made a move that was the catalyst for Tony Khan to take his highest profile piece of talent, arguably, and put him in that time slot and the show did less than a million viewers. How is that a f***ing win? Burning up talent, putting someone into a match with a storyline, with no angle. It was definitely an in-delicious move but you’re burning up resources and you walked away with less than a million viewers?”

AEW President Tony Khan already reacted to AEW Rampage’s success. However, with AEW Rampage’s ratings contiuning to plummet every week, we certainly wonder what the company will do to remedy its situation.
