Things are heating up between AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker and undefeated rising star Jade Cargill. Of course, Cargill will have to wait to get her hands on Baker since Tay Conti is the #1 contender and has an AEW Women’s Title match at Full Gear on November 13th.
Despite the Full Gear match on Baker’s slate, Cargill and AEW’s resident dentist cannot wait to face each other in the ring. The two have already begun a verbal spar with each other on social media. Cargill replied to Baker’s tweet, claiming that Baker “can’t hold a candle” to how she looks.
Not one to take it lying down, Baker immediately clapped back at Cargill, saying that nobody mentioned looks. The Doc also accused Cargill of body shaming.
Your tweets are as bad as your promos. I was the baddest bitch on the block before you even decided you wanted to play wrestler. No one mentioned “looks” but that’s literally all you have so I get it. If that was an attempt to body shame my *ss, go ahead and kiss it.
Cargill denied the allegation of body shaming, instead accusing Baker of “playing the victim.” She replied to say, “BODY SHAME!?! The Queen of talking about everyone else is playing the victim. Brittney please, I can’t help that God blessed me with great looks!”
While the verbal war rages on, it is yet to be seen which of the two will emerge victorious in the ring. Check out their tweets below.
