Christian made his return during the Royal Rumble match after a seven-year-long hiatus from the squared circle. However, he was not seen on WWE television after that. Ultimately, Christian chose to go to AEW as he came to be known as Christian Cage.

Since then, Cage has remained one of the mainstays of AEW and also Impact Wrestling. Christian Cage was even the Impact World Champion until he lost it to Josh Alexander at Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 23rd.

Christian Cage’s motto in AEW is a simple one as he is always determined to outwork everyone in the pro wrestling world. It seems Christian Cage has done just that from the looks of it.

Christian Cage has recently pulled off an incredible achievement that is unlikely to be replicated for a long time. Christian Cage has competed in the main event of three pay-per-views for three different wrestling companies within the same year.

Christian Cage competed in the Royal Rumble back in January. He then squared off against Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title at AEW All Out back in September. Finally, Cage defended his Impact World title against Josh Alexander at Bound For Glory.

Christian Cage is certainly happy working in AEW and he wouldn’t have it any other way from the looks of it as well. He had an incredible 2021 and it remains to be seen whether 2022 will be just as good for him or not.
