WWE released Bronson Reed from his contract when there were already plans for him to make a jump to the main roster. That was a bit of a shock for a lot of people, including him. He was faced with visa issues, but those were apparently clearing up. For whatever reason, he was supposed to debut for Impact Wrestling at Bound For Glory, but those plans changed.
Impact Wrestling tried very hard to bring in Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt, but those deals apparently fell through. Neither of them debuted at Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event. Bronson Reed, now going as Jonah Rock, was apparently booked, but he didn’t debut either.
Fightful Select reports that Impact Wrestling was going to bring in Jonah Rock, and he was actually booked for the event, but then they unbooked him for some reason. No reason was given as to why that happened.
One name that IMPACT was going to be able to bring in is the former Bronson Reed. In fact, Fightful was told by IMPACT sources that he was actually booked, then unbooked from the show, though reasons weren’t given as to why that happened.
We will have to see what is in Jonah Rock’s future. Few big men in pro wrestling can move like he does, and he leaves crowds stunned by his ability on a constant basis. He is obviously ready and willing to wrestle, but something apparently stopped that from going down at Bound For Glory.
