Jim Ross is beloved throughout the pro wrestling world and he had some unfortunate news to report this morning. While on his way to AEW’s Saturday Night Dynamite event, Jim Ross revealed that he has skin cancer.

JR tweeted out a very graphic photo of his skin the other day, and we must warn anyone wishing to see it that it is not for the squeamish at all. You can check out that photo here. Many were concerned about Jim Ross’ condition following that post.

Ross tweeted out another photo on Saturday afternoon, but his wound was covered with a blue bandage this time. He also confirmed that it is skin cancer and now he is waiting on a radiologist’s study to figure out what they need to do.

On my way to Orlando for tonight’s @AEW Dynamite.

Skin cancer confirmed. Waiting on radiologist study to determine best treatment. Likely radiation.

Feeling great and ready to attack.

Thanks for the support from so many.

This is terrible news and we feel for Good ‘ole JR at a time like this. The good news is that he is surrounded by loving and supportive people in AEW who really care about his wellbeing. Hopefully, he can figure out a treatment to take care of this problem in quick fashion.
