Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch had a confrontation backstage and it was not a pretty sight. Things did not get physical, but a shouting match did ensue. This was followed by a request for Flair to leave the building before The Man’s dark match was over. New information indicates that The Queen might not have left on her own volition.
Flair has a ton of heat on her after this situation. It is unclear whether this incident was the cause of Andrade’s “FU WWE” tweet, because his amazing match against Pac had just aired on AEW Rampage. Then again, the timing of his tweet was within an hour of Flair’s yelling match with Lynch.
According to Bryan Alvarez, Charlotte Flair had some help leaving the arena. They had security escort the SmackDown Women’s Champion out of the venue.
Charlotte was, in fact, escorted out of the building by security last night.
For what it’s worth, the locker room is standing behind Becky Lynch. Ringside News also exclusively repotted on October 19th that there were a few people on SmackDown who weren’t thrilled about trading women’s champions.
We will continue keeping a close eye on this situation. Things might get messy before they clean up at all, but we will continue bringing you all the news you need to know regarding this recent WWE drama.
