WWE is not holding a December pay-per-view in 2021. That was a decision they came to after the Day One pay-per-view was announced for New Year’s Day. It also turns out that the Atlanta market is not clamoring for tickets to that event.

WWE’s next pay-per-view event will be Survivor Series on November 21st, and then they will have a long break away from pay-per-view events. Their January 1st show will be the next offering from the company.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that ticket sales for WWE’s Day One event have not sold very well at all.

The Day One PPV from Atlanta on 1/1 is at 3,660

The State Farm Arena has a listed capacity of over 21,000. The fact that WWE hasn’t even sold 4,000 tickets at this point might be a bit concerning. To be fair, WWE hasn’t even announced a single match for the event yet, so tickets might start moving quicker once a card starts coming out.

WWE could also reduce ticket prices or introduce a package deal price. If anything, this could be another event where they break out the tarps and move everyone to one side of the building to give off the illusion of a packed house.
