WWE is all about bringing in huge crossover stars, especially when it comes to Olympians. They just inked a deal with Gable Steveson and he will be on RAW when his commitments are over with the University of Minnesota. They might have another great opportunity to sign silver medal winner next time.

Tareg Ali Hamedi shows up at WWE Crown Jewel and he received one of the biggest pops of the night. Those fans were not expecting to the see silver medal winning karate fighter at the event. That experience was a very positive one for Hamedi.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Tareg Ali Hamedi was so impressed by WWE that he might consider signing with them when he is finished with karate. The 23-year-old has a lot of career ahead of him and he just might find himself in WWE.

Hamedi seemed very interested in pro wrestling as a next career and WWE would no doubt be interested in a celebrity with a legit sport background from Saudi Arabia.

Hamedi actually lost his final Olympic fight because he was disqualified for knocking out his opponent with a full force kick. Some thought that was a laughable reason to take away a win, especially in a combat sport like karate.

We’ll have to see what’s next in this situation, but it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see Tareg Ali Hamedi make some sort of WWE return down the line.
