Bronson Reed was released from WWE and that was a big surprise. The former NXT North American Champion was seemingly on his way to the WWE main roster when he was cut. It might have taken him more time than he liked, but it appears that Bronson Reed is getting some big interest.
According to Fightful Select, Bronson Reed, now going as Jonah Rock once again, is receiving interest from multiple companies. AEW was not specifically mentioned in the report, but two other top companies were.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling is interested in Jonah Rock’s services. They have reportedly been making a “big play” to get him to come in and work for them.
Also, Impact Wrestling is interested in having Jonah Rock in. That is interesting timing, because Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event on October 23rd could be a perfect place for him to debut. Fans also already expecting to see Braun Strowman debut for the company at Bound For Glory.
There has been interest from IMPACT Wrestling in Jonah Rock as well. Sources we spoke to weren’t confident that he’d be comimg in this weekend, but said it was discussed.
Jonah Rock’s 30-day non-compete clause is over, but he had some visa issues to take care of. It would certainly help his position if he can find a company to vouch for him staying in America. Only time will tell where we see Jonah Rock next, but the former Bronson Reed is far from finished.
