MJF has shown that he is willing to take shots at anyone. He even recently took aim at WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns. The Salt Of The Earth is currently engaged in a feud with Darby Allin, and he has some big shots to take.
Now, MJF is refocusing his attention on his home promotion. Arguably the strongest heel in AEW, MJF is building a feud with one of the biggest babyfaces in the company, Darby Allin.
MJF recently appeared on Rasslin’ and talked about the “pillars” of AEW and shared his thoughts on Darby’s in-ring style. He said it doesn’t suit him at all.
“So the thing is, I respect Darby, but I’m not a fan of the way he goes about professional wrestling. I don’t think he’s a pro wrestler. I think he is a stuntman. I think he leans on thumbtacks on a skateboard, right? Tables, chairs, ladders, and the bottom line is I’m a much better technical professional wrestler than he is.”
MJF is an old-school heel. He almost never breaks kayfabe, even when interacting with fans. While it is apparent that every time he speaks, he’s probably trying to work somebody, these were still choice words for one of AEW’s most popular stars.
MJF has been verbally destroying everything in his path as of late. He even dragged Bryan Danielson. He also has no time for talent jumping ship from AEW’s biggest competitor, WWE.
