Goldberg didn’t really kill Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st, but he did win in convincing fashion. Obviously, Goldberg is very happy about that as he fulfilled a promise to protect his family.

Following his big win over Bobby Lashley in Saudi Arabia, Goldberg cut an interview backstage. Goldberg was pleased with his performance, because that match wasn’t about being a champion. It was about avenging his family’s honor after Lashley put his hands on Goldberg’s son, Gage.

No offense to any championship, but my family’s much more important than any title, any championship, any accolade, anything. There’s nothing that’s going to stir up the violence in a human being than touching and disrespecting their family. I don’t care if I’m 500-years-old, I’ll come out of the grave and I’ll rip your face off it’s something you don’t do.”

Goldberg made it clear that he said “wrestling business, football, it doesn’t matter you do not mess with a man’s family.”

We’ll pay close attention to Bobby Lashley’s next move. He lost to Goldberg, who is very likely to take off and not wrestle again for a long time. Lashley could be on RAW next week, and he will have a big loss to explain in the process.

Goldberg was able to beat Bobby Lashley and deal with the “distractions” too. Now he can ride off into the sunset once again as an ultimate part-timer with another big Saudi Arabian win under his belt.
