Effy Busted For Possession With .02 Ounces Of Marijuana

Effy is one of independent wrestling’s hottest acts. He has teamed with Danhausen to form the team Gaytanic Panic. The flamboyant grappler, through his character and his deeds, fights homophobia in all its forms.

This morning, Effy has revealed that he was arrested in his hometown of Atlanta for possession of a small amount of marijuana. He tweeted that he was stopped with .02 ounces (equivalent to about a half gram) of weed and faces a fine.

“EFFY is guilty of possessing .02 ounces of marijuana according to the city of Atlanta and must pay the fine.”

Effy took to CashApp using cashtag $payeffy. He appears to have received some donations to help pay the fine. Of course, fans flocked to Effy’s defense, noting that .02 oz is an incredibly small amount of the cannabis.

According to the series of tweets, Effy had an additional bag that he was originally caught with. The police were unable to find that bag, thankfully. They busted him with a “bonus bag” of what a majority of states in the USA now consider medicine. Effy did not disclose the quantity of said initial bag.

Effy also stated in a follow-up tweet that he would be sharing the amount when he got home. It is not known whether this picture was taken before or after he received his citation.
