Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself as a commentator in WWE, delivering some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling. It seems Jim Ross is quite furious over a recent rumor about him.

Jim Ross is human at the end of the day and is open to making mistakes. He has made some particularly bad blunders and gotten a lot of hate for it online. This includes calling Jon Moxley the ‘WWE Champion’ and also saying ‘WWE Dynamite’ at one time.

The negative attention for Jim Ross came to such a point that even AEW EVP Cody Rhodes was surprised at all the heat Jim Ross was getting for his mistakes on AEW commentary.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross addressed a rumor that he drinks heavily during AEW tapings. Ross was furious at such a rumor and vehemently denied it.

“I’ll say something I don’t do. Somebody wrote on Twitter the other day, as if they knew, that I drink a lot of Crown Royal during the broadcasts. That’s so f*cking ridiculous. You wanna say [that]? I feel so sorry for you that you would imagine that happening. If I could rebuke that stupid f*cking rumor. It’s ridiculous.”

It is also to be noted that Jim Ross was fired by WWE back in 2013 after he was caught being intoxicated during WWE SummerSlam weekend. Regardless, Ross also doesn’t seem to care much about the haters, but that doesn’t mean he’s okay with making mistakes on the air.
