Chris Jericho is a veteran in the pro wrestling world and has competed in various promotions all around the globe for three decades. He is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. Being a veteran in the business, he doesn’t really have much care about what his haters have to say. It seems he wants a dream match with an NJPW legend.
On the other hand, Minoru Suzuki needs no introductions as far as his contributions to the pro wrestling world are concerned. Suzuki is one of the most intense and feared pro wrestlers on the planet, who made his AEW debut back at AEW All Out. Since then he has made quite a few appearances on AEW television.
In recent weeks, Minoru Suzuki has appeared in several US promotions all over the country, as fans were treated to the NJPW legend’s violent and stiff style of pro wrestling. Suzuki has faced Jon Moxley, Joey Janela, Bryan Danielson and more but he still hasn’t faced Chris Jericho.
A fan took to Twitter and pointed at the face that Jericho and Suzuki have never duked it out. Chris Jericho saw the fan’s tweet and replied to it, stating that he definitely wants to face Suzuki at Wrestle Kingdom 16 next year.
Me too. Let’s do it! @njpw1972
Chris Jericho has faced the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tetsuya Naito in incredible bouts in NJPW. A match against Minoru Suzuki would truly be a dream match for many fans. It remains to be seen if the match truly will take place at Wrestle Kingdom 16 or not.
