Recent AEW signings have definitely made the news in recent months and that’s for very good reason. Many legends such as CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole have recently signed on, but up and comers to the industry as well…wrestlers who have worked the independent circuit, making a name for themselves.
Fightful Select reports on the contract status of many of the recently signed AEW stars. Last week specifically, the signing of Lee Moriarty was made public, but according to the aforementioned report, this particular signing was weeks in the making, although the official announcement came a lot later.
It was apparently after All Out that Lee Moriarty was offered the possibility of signing with the company, and in front of the live crowd, although a customary “Lee Moriarty is All Elite” graphic was never shown until just recently.
MLW reportedly spoke very well of AEW and of Moriarty, stating that he was at tapings for the promotion up until the very end of his time there, and AEW was apparently quite easy to deal with. This statement being the common thread right now in the industry.
In other essentially recent signings, Daniel Garcia stated that he was officially signed, the news dropping via Evil Uno’s Vlog. According to the report, Garcia has apparently not yet received the official nod in the form of a “Garcia is All Elite” graphic either in an official capacity.
Both are and have been on a pretty tight AEW schedule since signing, and it seems a s though that will be ongoing as the months go on. They worked the indies vigorously just as well, and are both considered full-time with AEW.
