Fans have been missing WWE NXT Superstar Samoa Joe, who has not made an appearance since September, following the advice of WWE medical officials. Joe appeared on “The Kurt Angle Show” this week to discuss the different aspects of his wrestling career.
Joe began by comparing his TNA experience to WWE, describing the TNA locker room as “awesome.” Joe also said that “backstage at times could be chaotic” and that it was “very easy going in a good way.”
WWE, on the other hand, said Joe, is “just a whole different animal.” The wrestler attributed some of the show’s issues to its high production value, saying that it wasn’t always easy moving to different cities and getting the shows on air.
I mean, there’s always a new crisis every week just based on the nature of having to take this giant circus every week to film it. You know, you get used to working in an inherently chaotic environment just by the very nature of what it is. So, I will say this. I can’t say that I’ve been in a locker room in my entire career that hasn’t been stellar.
It seems that Samoa Joe needed some time off to recover from this chaos. Earlier this year, he beat Karrion Kross to win the NXT gold for the third time in his career. However, Joe had to relinquish the Championship due to health concerns. Check out a clip from Joe’s interview below.
