Kenny Omega & Cain Velasquez Featured On AAA TripleMania Card

AAA has made some pretty amazing announcements regarding their Triplemania Regia event set to go down in Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday December 4th. None other than the “Belt Collector” himself will be in action. He is set to face El Hijo del Vikingo.

Other names attached to the card include mixed martial artist and previous UFC Heavyweight Champion, Cain Velasquez. He is partnering up with Psycho Clown & Pagano. Together, the three of them are set to face Rey Escorpion, Black Taurus, and a partner that has yet to be revealed. The surprise should prove to be a rather special one by the time the event goes down. Fingers crossed.

Black Taurus, who we mentioned above, will be featured in the match as well. He spends his time over at Impact Wrestling where he is aligned with the Decay faction which includes Crazy Steve, Rosemary and Havoc, who are the current Knockouts tag champs.

Speaking of Impact and the illustrious Knockouts, Deonna Purrazzo, who is the current Knockouts champion, is also the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. The aforementioned Black Taurus, is AAA Latin American Champion for the promotion.

Velasquez has made appearances for AAA before. Going back to 2019 in fact. And speaking of 2019, Kenny Omega has held the AAA title since then as well, defending it time and time again, and in great fashion to a plethora of names which include: Sammy Guevara, Laredo Kid, Andrade El Idolo, Jack Evans and even Dragon Lee .

AAA was founded in 1992 and since, it has garnered quite the reputation amongst loyal pro wrestling fans. Many wrestlers have made their way through the promotion over the years, thus giving the promotion, as well as their own names and legacies quite the boost. The event should be a special one for sure.
