The Godfather had a great run in his WWE career. The WWE Hall of Famer was in tag team with Bull Buchanan where they had a lot of good wins together. One of these wins came in the year 2000, when they won the Tag Team belt from The Hardy Boyz.
The Goodfather appeared on an episode of It’s My Wrestling Podcast, where he revealed that it was The Undertaker who was responsible for that title change. He said that he was pretty unhappy back then, and The Undertaker knew this. After The Undertaker had a conversation with Vince McMahon, The Goodfather got to have a great time as he won the championship.
So when they took me in as The Goodfather, it wasn’t fun no more. So right away I was like, ‘Dude, I’m out of here.’ I think ‘Taker went to Vince and said I’m getting ready to leave, and all of a sudden they drop the belts on me. And I had loyalty, I’m not going to run out with the belts. As soon as they got those belts off of us then I finished that because I really wasn’t having fun.
The Godfather was unhappy with his time in the WWE. When he received the belts, he made sure to keep going with them for as long as he could. However, when the belts were exchanged, he knew it was time to go.
The Undertaker recently reacted to Margot Robbie revealing that she is a huge fan of his. Drew McIntyre revealed an incident where he stayed up all night thinking that he had ended up receiving The Undertaker‘s hotel room by mistake. He is willing to train her daughter if she ever wants to join the WWE.
