WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather was one of the mainstays of the company during the early 90s, where he was Papa Shango. When he embraced his Godfather gimmick in 1998, the WWE Hall Of Famer truly became a well-known name in the company. It seems he also believes The Undertaker is retired for good.
On the other hand, The Undertaker will forever be remembered as one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He gave more than three decades of his life to the business and The Undertaker’s contributions will never be forgotten.
While speaking on Chris Deez on It’s My Wrestling Podcast, The Godfather talked about The Undertaker possibly coming back for one more match. The Godfather made it clear that he doesn’t think his friend The Undertaker will ever make a return to the squared circle as he has no need to.
“He really does not need the money, believe me. I don’t think you will (see him back). He called me and told me, he says, ‘Big dog I’m done.’ He goes, ‘I’m done now. I’m finally done.’ He has never called me and told me that. He has told me ‘I am trying to get out, Vince won’t let me go, keeps throwing big numbers at me to wrestle once a year.’ I am very sure he is done, I think physically he’s done, and mentally he is done.”
The Undertaker also recently revealed that he would help train his daughter if she ever wanted to become a pro wrestler. The Undertaker has been enjoying his life in retirement since then but had also mentioned earlier that he wanted to mentor young WWE talents. We will have to see what is next in store for the Phenom.
