Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television after dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam, where he made his shocking return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns. Brock officially came back as a babyface, much to the delight of fans. It seems Roman Reigns has something interesting to say about his current feud with Brock Lesnar.
The feud between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is certainly one of the major ones in recent memory. The feud started long back in 2015 and it culminated in several World Title matches as well.
While speaking to WWE UK, Roman Reigns talked about his current feud with Brock Lesnar. The Tribal Chief stated that this time around, everything has changed in their feud. This is especially true when it comes to being the WWE Universal Champion.
“I think the most obvious thing is how the roles have reversed and how the whole dynamic has shifted 180. The direction of where each personality has been, and where it is going and also all the way through to the alliance of Paul Heyman; everything has changed with me and Brock Lesnar.
In the past Brock Lesnar was probably the most prestigious Universal Champion we have had; definitely in terms of title reign, but that pales in comparison against what I have been able to achieve in the last year and a half.”
Roman Reigns is set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st. Ringside News exclusively reported that Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are set to have multiple matches this time around. It remains to be seen how their Crown Jewel match will play out.
