AEW brought a special live Rampage to TNT this week complete with a Buy-In show. This was a big deal for the company as they stood toe to toe with WWE for the first time on a Friday night. How did the viewership turn out?

According to Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast’s Andrew Zarian, the October 15th episode of AEW Rampage drew a fast national average of 559,000 fans. That was actually an improvement from the previous week’s overnight numbers.
466,000 viewers were registered with the overnight numbers for AEW Rampage on October 8th. 196,000 were in the demo. It should be noted that the previous week the actual average was 28k higher than the overnight.
The October 1st episode of AEW Rampage drew an overnight viewership of 594,000, and 316,000 of those viewers were in the key demographic to give them a .24 rating.
The September 24th airing of AEW Rampage Grand Slam brought an average viewership of 640,000 fans. The first hour brought in 727,000 viewers with the second capturing 552,000 viewers. That brought an average rating of .285 for the two-hour broadcast.
The September 17th episode of AEW Rampage brought in an average of 642,000 viewers. They also garnered a .28 in the 19 to 49 demographic. That marked a new low for the company’s Friday night show.
September 10th’s episode of AEW Rampage was watched by 670,000 viewers on average. 347,000 viewers were in the 18 to 49 demographic which gave them a 0.27 rating.
August 27th’s episode of AEW Rampage brought in 722,000 viewers. They garnered a .34 in the 18 to 49 demographic as well. That was a huge drop from the previous week with CM Punk’s debut, but it is about in line with what they pulled in with their debut episode.
The August 20th special “The First Dance” episode of Rampage brought in 1,129,000 fans. 692,000 of those fans were in the 18 to 49 demographic giving them a .53 rating. The company also pulled in 107,900 viewers in Canada, 75,000 of those were in the 25 to 54 demographic.
AEW Rampage pulled in 740,000 viewers on August 13th for their first episode. They also ranked #3 in the night in cable behind two NFL preseason games. They pulled in a .31 in the coveted 18 to 49 demographic as well.
