WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg is a legend in the pro wrestling business, especially making a name for himself during WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past. He was also unable to defeat Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam back in August. The two will battle once again at Crown Jewel on October 21st.
Lashley attacked Goldberg’s son, Gage, after defeating Goldberg in that SummerSlam match. Since then Goldberg has used the words “kill” and “murder” in promos ahead of their match at WWE Crown Jewel.
This decision to go that far with the violent verbiage was criticized by many pro wrestlers, especially legends such as Eric Bischoff, who came down on the company for making Goldberg look like a school kid.
While speaking on the CarCast podcast, Goldberg gave an update on his knee’s condition ahead of his match against Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel. Goldberg revealed that he won’t be fully healed in time for the match.
“Knee’s much better. Hopefully it’ll be — I won’t be completely healed by then [Crown Jewel] but it’ll be, suffice to say, in good enough shape to kick Bobby [Lashley’s] ass. Let’s just say that.”
We will have to wait and see who will come out on top in a no holds barred match between Goldberg and Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st as it will certainly be a hard-hitting and very physical affair. Lashley might zero in on that knee after finding out that Goldberg isn’t 100%.
