Adam “Hangman” Page made his return to AEW Dynamite last week to win the Casino ladder Match and a future AEW World Championship match. For months, fans have speculated we will see Page take on Kenny Omega at November’s Full Gear PPV. Tony Khan himself has confirmed this.

Kenny Omega defeated Hangman Page at Full Gear in 2020 to earn the championship match that would see him win the AEW World Championship. Hangman and Omega previously held the AEW World Tag Team Championships together and fans have eagerly anticipated the inevitable Hangman vs Omega world title match.

Tony Khan appeared on YouTube show My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox where he confirmed the dream match. Khan said it was fitting how the championship match will take place on the same PPV one year later when Hangman faced Omega before.

“Last year [the AEW World Title eliminator tournament] culminated with Kenny and Hangman, which is very fitting because now as we go into Full Gear this year, Kenny is the champion and he’s facing Hangman,”
