MSK Says Triple H Is Like A Really Cool Uncle

NXT Tag Team Champions MSK have revealed they were “frozen” during their first meeting with the black and gold brand’s supremo. In an interview with Fightful, the duo said they are enjoying their current relationship with “The Game.”

Nash Carter recalled the first time the two sat down with Triple H: “I don’t get star-struck often, but..man…it was time to play the game. Wes Lee added: “He’s sitting down, his back is turned to us, so when the door opens, the chair spins around and he stands up and we just like [frozen].”

He continued: “He was like a real cool uncle or real cool dad who brought us in and was like, ‘I really like you guys. You guys are awesome.’ There’s a level of compassion that he has too. What he’s saying to us, we know it’s coming from his heart. That man has no downtime so anytime he stops and speaks personally with you, he’s not going to waste his time.”

MSK are currently in their first title reign as the NXT Tag Team Champions. The high-flying daredevils defeated Legado Del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde,) and Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) for the title at NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver.
