WWE held another draft and those choices were kept very close to the vest. That didn’t stop some Superstars from figuring out where they were going next.
According a report from Fightful Select, select WWE Superstars were told about their Draft destinations on Thursday prior to the Draft. Ringside News was able to report on October 1st that the Draft choices were done and the networks were informed of the picks.
Some WWE Superstars were not told exactly where they would land. They were able to figure things out by looking at their travel agendas.
The majority of names selected Monday had not known of plans by the time the draft started the prior Monday, with some exceptions. There were several talent who had to make travel plans and put two and two together, and once the first round happened, many assumed they’d be moving brands, though oddly, some that didn’t switch brands weren’t informed of such.
The 2021 WWE Draft will go into effect on October 22nd, the day after WWE Crown Jewel. We will have to see what happens at the Saudi Arabia event, because it could further shake things up depending on who comes back to America with a title around their waist.
