MJF cemented himself as one of the best heels in the modern-day pro wrestling world and there is a very good reason for that. He quickly cemented himself as a top star and remains one of the highlights of AEW television since the debut of AEW Dynamite back in 2019.
The Salt of the Earth is dedicated to his character as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle. His dedication to his credit has won him over with fans who simply love to hate him.
MJF is also known to take things far and push the envelope as far as being a heel is concerned. Due to this, there are many pro wrestlers who want to have a program with MJF.
While speaking to FITE on Focus, Bryan Danielson revealed that he wants to square off against MJF in AEW and also added that he wants to participate in NJPW’s G1 Climax tournament.
“As far as, goals like, ‘I want to do this, I want to do that,’ I don’t have a lot of that. I would like to do…there are some people I would like to wrestle in AEW and obviously you want them to be incredible matches. I’d love to be able to go to New Japan and do the G1, but that’s COVID-dependent. I don’t hang anything on that. I would love to do something with MJF in AEW. If that doesn’t materialize and it never happens, it doesn’t matter as long as I enjoy the rest of the things.”
We will have to wait and see if MJF and Bryan Danielson ever cross paths in AEW as a feud between the two would certainly be a memorable one.
