Braun Strowman was released from WWE and the Monster Among Men has not landed in another company just yet. His 90-day non-compete clause just expired, and he had one pay-per-view match against EC3 on his Control The Narrative. WWE isn’t interested in having him back as Ringside News exclusively reported.
While talking on a media call, MLW owner Court Bauer confirmed that Major League Wrestling did speak to Braun Strowman. They were unable to come to terms on a deal at this time. He also expressed that he does not know where Braun Strowman will land next, but MLW will continue keeping their eye on the free agent market.
“We did talk to Braun Strowman for a little bit and didn’t come to terms with him on a deal. I can’t say whether they’re going to be headed or not I don’t know, but we’re looking and evaluating talent all the time and see if it’s a good fit from a product’s point of view with our fans. Will it mesh and from what noticed is that they are some names that are big stars, high profiled guys that come in and they’re embraced by our fans and there are others that are like, yea we know they’re buzzy, they’re coming to form a big company but this isn’t their jam so its a really delicate thing. You’re a chef, certain ingredients will work and certain ones won’t, every scenario is different.”
We’ll pay close attention to Adam Scherr’s next moves. His representation assured us via angry DMs that they will announce his future endeavors very soon. In the meantime, we know that Strowman isn’t going back to WWE and things didn’t work out with MLW.
Strowman did speak to AEW, but it is unknown how far along those talks went. Impact Wrestling is very interested in having him in, so we will have to see if he invades the Impact Zone eventually.
