Announcement Of New AEW Title Belt Is Coming Soon

AEW has a few titles floating around, but they are prepared to add more. The fact that Tony Khan has a big announcement planned for tonight could be perfect timing to unveil that new title.

Andrew Zarian reported that AEW is working on debuting a new women’s title. This secondary title has been called the TBS Title by those within the company. That has not been 100% confirmed as the name just yet.

Fightful Select confirmed this report and said that the announcement for this new title is “coming sooner than later.” It is possible that Tony Khan will announce the new title tonight, but we really don’t knw what TK has up his sleeves.

This new title could be promoted like the TNT Title is, and that seems to fit the way that AEW handles such things. Tony Khan did say that his announcement tonight will involve something that they’ve been working on for a long time and it certainly takes some time to create a title belt.
