Braun Strowman was released from WWE as the company nixed a huge $1.2 million per year contract from their budget. His 90-day non-compete clause just ended and he already had a pay-per-view match with EC3. His name is generating a bit of buzz as fans wonder where Adam Scherr will end up next, but WWE is not currently interested.
Ringside News exclusively reported that there are no current on-going talks between WWE and Adam Scherr at this time. We were told by sources that if WWE wanted him back, then he would be back in the fold already.
Adam Scherr’s representation reached out to Ringside News following our report. Scherr’s rep informed us that they “have had” talks with WWE since his release, but they did not corroborate that those talks are still ongoing. He also made it clear that Scherr has plans for his future and they will be revealed shortly.
Adam’s future endeavors will be announced in the very near future.
Adam Scherr has interest from Impact Wrestling and that seems to be his most likely landing pad. There were brief talks with AEW, but it seems that they did not go anywhere.
Keep checking back with Ringside News as we continue monitoring this ongoing situation. Adam Scherr’s time in the pro wrestling world is not over by a long shot, but he needs to find a pro wrestling home first.
