Cody Rhodes Wants To Wrestle Adam Cole More Than CM Punk

Cody Rhodes is the EVP of AEW and has remained a babyface in the company since its inception. Rhodes‘ is one of the top stars in the company, as he has competed in several memorable matches and great segments over the years.

The American Nightmare has faced off against several top stars in AEW so far but with the addition of big names such as CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, many fans wondered if Rhodes will face them as well in the future.

While speaking to Charly Arnolt of ESPN, Cody Rhodes was asked to choose between CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole as the opponent he’s most interested in facing.

Rhodes revealed that he wants to face off against Adam Cole the most among the three wrestlers and then went on to explain his choice.

“Adam Cole. It’s an easy question for me to answer in terms of I feel Adam Cole is very well known by the hardcore wrestling audience and, of course, fans of the Elite and Bullet Club and that entire portion of this revolution. But I also think that casual fans or lapsed fans or just new fans have only seen just the tip of the iceberg of what he’s capable of.”

It remains to be seen whether Cody Rhodes and Adam Cole will cross paths somewhere down the line as that does not seem to be likely anytime soon from the looks of it.
