Braun Strowman was released from his massive $1.2 million per year contract as WWE continued their efforts to trim the bottom line. Now his 90-day non-compete clause is up and he is able to talk with any other company about acquiring his services. There are two companies in the running, but one might have far more interest.

We previously reported that Braun Strowman and Impact Wrestling seem close to a deal. Impact Wrestling isn’t the only company that has spoken to the former Monster Among Men about coming in.

According to Fightful Select, AEW has spoken to Braun Strowman. At this time Impact Wrestling does seem to be the frontrunner to get him, because they are “heavily interested” right now.

There had been talks between Scherr and All Elite Wrestling, but of recent weeks we’ve actually heard that IMPACT Wrestling is heavily interested in bringing in the former WWE Universal Champion.

Word going around the Nashville, Tennessee Impact Wrestling television tapings was that Adam Scherr is coming into the company. There is no further information to support that as fact, but the rumor mill is churning in a big way for him

Interestingly enough, Impact Wrestling is also very interested in Bray Wyatt. We have to wonder if they are interested in doing something with Scherr and Windham Rotunda together if they can snag both of those high profile free agents.
