Rey Mysterio Sidelined With Medical Issue

Rey Mysterio is now on the RAW brand along with his son Dominik, but he hasn’t been wrestling in recent memory. There is a reason for that, because Mr. 6-1-9 is sidelined for a medical issue.

According to a report fromFightful, Rey Mysterio is not wrestling right now because he isn’t cleared. He was scheduled to face Roman Reigns at a live event, but he was pulled from the event. The company had to book a different match for the Bloodline since Mysterio was unable to perform.

As of Friday night that Rey Mysterio was sidelined for an undisclosed medical reason and would no longer be able to perform at the Saturday night live event where he was scheduled to face Roman Reigns.

As of this writing there is no word about how long Rey Mysterio will be out of the ring. A veteran performer like Rey Mysterio is very valuable.

We’ll have to see what happens in this situation. Rey Mysterio showing up on RAW is enough to get fans excited, but they would much rather watch him wrestle. Hopefully, whatever is keeping him out of action will get cleared up soon so he can get back to entertaining fans in the ring.
